WORKER’S ESSENTIAL
Back in 1913, the U.S. Navy first issued t-shirt as undergarments. These were a crew-necked, short-sleeved, white cotton clothe to be worn under a uniform.
It became popular for sailors to remove their uniform jacket and only wear the undershirt. Year after, it became popular as a bottom layer of clothing for workers in various industries.
